CGSSB Recruitment 2026 for 153 Store Keeper, Driver, Mechanic & Watch Room Operator Posts

Chhattisgarh Karmachari Chayan Mandal (CGSSB), formerly CG Vyapam, has announced the NSSK26 written examination for recruitment to 153 vacancies under Nagar Sena, Fire & Emergency Services and SDRF. The recruitment covers 14 Vahan Chalak (Driver), 86 Vahan Chalak-cum-Operator, 32 Store Keeper, 2 Mechanic and 19 Watch Room Operator posts. Candidates generally require Class 12 qualification, while Driver posts require a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle licence, Mechanic requires the prescribed ITI qualification and Watch Room Operator requires Nagar Sainik training with relevant service. Importantly, only candidates who have already qualified in the department’s Physical Efficiency Test are eligible to submit applications for this stage. Online applications are open until 7 September 2026, while the tentative written examination is scheduled for 22 November 2026.
